Tesla has been one of the most innovative and successful car companies in recent years. Elon Musk is the founder, CEO, and product architect at Tesla Motors. He was born in South Africa but he moved to Canada when he was 17 years old. His family emigrated because they were concerned about violence in South Africa due to Apartheid. In college, he studied physics before transferring to study economics at Penn State University where he graduated with a degree in economics from the Wharton School of Business. After this success, Elon decided that it would be best for him if tesla electric cars became more affordable for everyone and tesla motors went public so tesla could become a large company.
What’s the Tesla Experience?
The Tesla Experience is the feeling when you drive a Tesla. A smooth ride with absolutely no noise at all. The 1-60 times within 3 seconds and the autopilot or even full self-driving that will take you from A-B without you touching a finger.

How is the tesla experience different from a regular car?
The Tesla Experience starts with taking your hand off of the steering wheel and pushing autopilot. It continues through smoothly accelerating to 60 mph in under three seconds while you sit back, relax, and enjoy listening to music or podcasts. And since there’s no engine noise, speak as much as you want without yelling – teslas have twice the sound insulation than other cars! The tesla’s acceleration feels like hopping onto a fast-moving train that can go 0-60 miles per hour in an amazing four seconds. When it comes time for self-driving mode at highway speeds, its Autopilot manages traffic seamlessly even if traffic slows down or speeds up.
How is Tesla different from other cars?
Tesla has never lost a properly functioning car in autopilot mode. Tesla vehicles are also built with the most advanced active safety systems of any vehicle on the road today, including collision avoidance and automatic emergency braking that can help avoid or mitigate the severity of frontal collisions. Model S Sedan’s roof does not have an internal metal frame like some gas-powered cars do, so it’s safer for people to be inside when teslas collide head-on into objects at high speeds. There’s even a front trunk (frunk) under the hood where you can store anything–or use it as extra storage space! When teslas crash, they avoid engine fires thanks to over 700 sensors that tesla cars monitor constantly.

What cars does Tesla sell?
Tesla sells the Tesla Model S, Tesla Model X, and Tesla Roadster. The Tesla models are classified into three categories:
Model S is a full-size electric car that starts at $69,500 in the US with over 200 miles of range on a single charge

Tesla’s newest vehicle is the tesla semi-truck with a range of 300 miles per charge and can go from 0-60 mph in 20 seconds while carrying 80,000 pounds up to 500 miles on one charge.

The teslas do cost more than most cars: they start at around $70,500 and have ranged between 200-300 miles depending on what model you get. They’re also currently only available in North America and Europe but Elon Musk is trying to make teslas available in other countries.
